Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that McKesson Corporation, a leading healthcare services and information technology company, will invest about $50 million to establish distribution operations in Caroline County. The project will create approximately 150 new jobs. The company will distribute pharmaceuticals and health care products to independent retail, national retail accounts and institutional accounts. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland and Pennsylvania for the project.

Funds from Operations (FFO) attributable to common stockholders and unitholders for the second quarter of 2010 totaled $23.4 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, excluding $4.7 million or $0.02 per diluted share of impairment losses for the quarter, compared with $25.3 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, reported for the second quarter of 2009.
