CBRE, the leading global property adviser, acted as adviser on a key deal in the logistics sector. The transaction involved the acquisition of a prime logistics facility in one of the most important warehouse locations in the Upper Silesia region.

CBRE acted on behalf of Hines Global REIT in their acquisition of Prologis Park Sosnowiec from Prologis European Holdings following on from their acquisition of a larger portfolio of four assets from Pro Logis earlier this year. The property totals 47,098 m².

Goodman completes construction of fourth warehouse at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre PDF Print E-mail

Goodman Group has completed the second phase of its fourth warehouse at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre in Modlniczka near Kraków. 85% of space at the 12,250 sqm facility has been leased to customers including Royal Canin, Logfarma and DB Schenker Logistics. The first section, completed in July, has 6,100 sqm of space, while the newly completed phase has an area of 6,150 sqm.

Global asset manager Internos has instructed CBRE as sole agent to sell a 35,196 m² prime logistics facility in Madrid. The development is situated in Alovera (Guadalajara), and forms part of Spain’s largest industrial and distribution hub - El Corredor del Henares.

Panattoni develops 10,800 m² in Zary PDF Print E-mail

Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial space market, has commenced works on another manufacturing and warehousing project. A modern 10,800 m² facility is being built in Zary and dedicated to the company from the electronics industry. Project completion is anticipated in March 2013.

JLL: New warehouse completion in Moscow increased by 168% in Q3 2012 PDF Print E-mail

According to Jones Lang LaSalle, new completion in Q3 in Moscow region reached almost 299,559 m², which is 2.5 times more when compared with the same period last year (111,910 m²).

During the first three quarters of 2012 new completions amounted to 468,000 m², a 70% increase y-o-y. Major new industrial buildings that entered the market (48%) were built-to suit schemes in the PNK-Vnukovo project. The other two significant projects completed this quarter were South Gate (51,000 m²), Phase II and LP Dmitrov (61,000 m²), phase I.
