Erste Group Immorent was granted the construction permit for a new distribution center, IMMOPARK Praha, to be developed in the Czech Republic. The group thus continues to expand its European network of production, logistics and storage IMMOPARKs, after having developed IMMOPARK Zagreb as one of the largest logistics centers in Croatia and IMMOPARK Košice, in Slovakia’s second largest city.

European retailers will need up to 25 million square metres of additional logistics space over the next five years, according to a new report by Jones Lang LaSalle. This equates to five million square metres of logistics space each year - enough to more than cover the whole of New York’s Central Park - for each of the next five years.
