Goodman, the global property expert in logistics and business space, has launched its flagship development project in Poland, the Pomeranian Logistics Centre (PLC). Located adjacent to the Gdańsk Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT), it is the largest logistics hub of its kind in northern Poland. When completed, it will feature approximately 500,000 sqm of high quality warehouse and light industrial space. Construction of the first facility, a 14,000 sqm warehouse, commenced in September 2012, with delivery planned for the end of Q1 2013. The total value of the project is estimated to exceed €300 million on completion.

Goodman Group (Goodman or Group) has announced it is developing a modern 18,111 sqm turnkey distribution centre at Puurs for the Vandeputte Group, one of the leading experts in health and safety in the work environment

The new 18,111 sqm development will comprise a warehouse incorporating 12 loading docks and three overhead doors, with a 586 sqm mezzanine floor and 440 sqm of office space. The new facility will allow the Vandeputte Group to consolidate its current space requirements, while catering for future expansion in one modern distribution centre. Construction commenced in May and delivery is scheduled for October 2012. After delivery Egemin Automation will fit out the warehouse.

Grieshaber Logistics Group (Bad Säckingen) and the logistics real estate specialist Alpha Industrial (Cologne) are together building a new logistics park for the pharmaceuticals sector in the Rheinfelden Süd industry park in the state of Baden-Württemberg, in a well-connected location between Germany and Switzerland. The international contract logistics service provider and Alpha Industrial also developed the construction plan for the industry and commercial park together with the city of Rheinfelden.

Goodman Group has announced the signing of a three year lease agreement with GEFCO, on behalf of Goodman European Logistics Fund (GELF). The lease agreement is for a 9,000 sqm distribution facility at Senec Logistics Centre near Bratislava. Goodman’s entire portfolio in Slovakia is now 100% leased.
